Baptismal Preparation Team
Prior to the Baptism of a child, parents participate in a class which familiarizes them with the Sacrament and its meaning. Classes are held at 7:00 pm on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. Couples who have children share some of their family stories that have taken place on their faith journey. The stories communicated by the couple give the new mother and father a better appreciation of the deep significance of this moment in the life of their child and in their own lives as well.

Post - Baptismal Outreach
We welcome into our parish family the newly baptized infants of our parishioners. The purpose is to encourage and support the parents in raising their children in the Catholic faith. An information packet is sent to the families every six months until the child is three years old. The packet contains information, prayers and activities to promote a connection between church and family. Ministers are needed for the monthly mailings, which involve approximately three hours per month.
