HOLY THURSDAY, 20th
9:00am Morning Prayer: as Lent ends, all are invited to pray together.
7:00pm MASS – followed by the solemn procession with the Blessed Sacrament
after 8:30pm ADORATION OF THE EUCHARIST:
Blessed Sacrament Chapel open for prayer before the Eucharist
8:30-10:30pm quiet prayer
10:30-11:45pm prayers & hymns in Portuguese, with the Brazilian Catholic Community. They have been joining us on First Fridays, and some parishioners who do not speak Portuguese have been choosing to join because of the great, charismatic fervor of the prayers.
11:45pm night prayer, sung in Portuguese and English
AT HOME for reflection: Exodus 12: 1-8, 11-14; 1 Corinthians 11: 23-26; John 13: 1-15.

1:00m Children are invited to assist in chalk drawing on the church plaza – Easter decorations
3:00pm CELEBRATION OF THE LORD’S PASSION
(Main service of the day, with veneration of cross, communion)
7:00PM Stations of the Cross (Not the main service of day, with no veneration of the cross, no communion.)
AT HOME Good Friday is a day of abstinence from meat (Catholics 14 yrs & older) and a day of fasting (Catholics 14 - 58 – 1 full meal, 2 lesser, with no snacks).

HOLY SATURDAY, 22nd
9:00am Morning Prayer
AT HOME reflection text: 1 Peter 1: 18-21
[The sorrowful mysteries of the rosary would be appropriate this day.]
EASTER EVE, 22nd
7:30PM EASTER VIGIL
(no other eve Masses; and no scheduled confessions)
THE central liturgy of the whole year, with a candlelight procession, readings that retell the story of our salvation, baptismal renewal, and solemn Eucharist.
EASTER DAY, 23rd
at Sandwich Town Beach
6:30am Ecumenical sunrise service – a wonderful addition to Easter Mass (and Easter egg hunt)
Church:
8:00am Mass – with children’s liturgy of the Word
9:05am Easter Egg Hunt: all children (toddlers through grade 5) are welcome to participate. We are ready for hundreds of festive participants! Rain or sunshine. Also, refreshments in Center for all.
10:30am Mass, with choir
12:00noon Mass (not as crowded as earlier Masses; plenty of room for all !)
