CHRISTMAS PAGEANT COSTUME IDEAS

Children have been invited to have a special role at two Christmas Eve Masses -- 4:00pm and 5:30pm. They can dress up as an angel or as a shepherd and participate mid-Mass in a joyous process to the Christmas creche.

Parents must sign up their children for this role at the Bay Room of the church.
Children should be in this age range: from old enough "to be on their own in a group", up to (and including) grade 5.
Sign up deadline is December 19.
Very limited openings remain for the 4:00pm Mass.
More openings are available for the 5:30pm Mass.

There is a mandatory dress rehearsal on December 20, 5:00pm - 6:00pm. All pre-registered children should be present in costume at the church baptistry by 4:59pm for that Monday rehearsal. Children can arrive in costume or use the nearby room (church study) for adding the costume.

Costumes are to be provided by each family, according to their own choice and style. Ideas follow here.

Other ideas:
A bathrobe with a piece of rope for a belt would make a fine shepherd or angel costume.
A paper plate with the middle cut out can be used for a halo.
