Father George E. Harrison is a native of Somerset and a graduate of the former Msgr. James Coyle High School in Taunton. He attended St. Mary's Seminary and University in Baltimore, MD. and was ordained a priest on May 18, 1968 by Bishop James L. Connolly. He served as a parochial vicar at St. Joseph's and St. Mary's in Taunton, St. Mary's in New Bedford, Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Seekonk, and St. Julie's in North Dartmouth. In 1975, he earned a master's degree in education from Bridgewater State University. He became the founding pastor of St. John Neumann Parish in East Freetown in 1983 and remained there there for ten years. He became pastor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Seekonk, in 1993 and pastor of Holy Name, Fall River in 2005. Through the years, he has also been director of the Cathedral Camp and Retreat Center in East Freetown and of Campus Ministry at U-Mass, Dartmouth; chaplain at Bishop Stang High School, North Dartmouth and at Coyle and Cassidy High School, Taunton; and chaplain for the Taunton area Catholic Nurses Guild and Sierra Club. He has also served as assistant chancellor of the diocese and episcopal secretary; diocesan director of Youth Ministry and later diocesan secretary and vicar for youth.

Father Michael Fitzpatrick grew up in Norwood, MA. After graduating from Xaverian Brother’s High School he attended St. John Seminary College in Brighton. He then worked in a group home setting first with adjudicated juveniles (seven years total including a couple when still in college) and second doing rehabilitative teaching with children who had suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (for about three years). He reentered formation for the priesthood in 1999 and was sent to major Seminary at Mt. St. Mary Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD. for the Fall Semester of that year. Upon graduation from “the Mount,” he was sent to serve at St. Mary Parish in Mansfield as a Transitional Deacon. His Ordination to the Priesthood was on Oct. 11, 2003 and he continued to serve at St. Mary’s as parochial vicar as well as three years as Chaplain of Bishop Feehan High School. In 2008, he was assigned as Chaplain of UMass Dartmouth, and also assistant/part time Chaplain at St. Luke Hospital in New Bedford (where he did his best to fill in for Fr. Thibault on Thursdays and Fridays!).

Rev. Deacon David Boucher, Permanent Deacon: Deacon David Boucher was raised in East Bridgewater. He later graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in pharmaceutical sciences. He is married to Deborah Boucher, the Director of Faith Formation at Corpus Christi. He works full time as a pharmacy supervisor at Cape Cod Hospital. Deacon Boucher was ordained in 2002 and is fortunate to be assigned to his home parish. He enjoys his ministries, especially Baptism Preparation and Evenings of Hospitality with the homeless.
Rev. Deacon Arthur LaChance, Permanent Deacon: Ordained in 2002, Art has been a member of Corpus Christi since 1989 when he, his wife Julie, and their three children moved to Sandwich. Introduced to health care while serving in the Air Force, he continues to enjoy a successful career in that field.
Rev. Deacon Dennis O’Connell, Permanent Deacon: Deacon Dennis G. O’Connell’s family moved to Sandwic
h in 1964 and has been a member of Corpus Christi Parish since that time where he made his first communion and confirmation. Deacon O’Connell attended Sandwich Public Schools, Tabor Academy and is a 1979 graduate of Bryant University with a B.S. in Business Administration. Now semi-retired, Dennis worked as a Certified Public Accountant in both the public and private sectors on Cape Cod for 30 years. He was ordained a permanent deacon by Bishop Sean O’Malley on May 18, 2002, has been assigned to Corpus Christi since that time, and is the coordinator of our Saint Vincent de Paul Society.

George J. Campeau, Jr. began as our Music Director in 2007. He is a 1980 graduate of the Catholic University of America with a Master of Liturgical Music degree. He has taught music in New Bedford Public Schools, Bishop Stang High School, St. John’s Seminary and during the 2011 spring semester was the interim Chapel Choir Director at Stonehill College. George is a former music director of the Bristol Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus and the Cape Cod Chamber Orchestra. He has been involved with Liturgical Music in the Catholic Church for almost 50 years. Here at Corpus Christi Parish he directs the Parish, Youth and Resurrection Choirs. He has studied under choral teachers Robert Shaw and Alexander Peloquin. He lives in New Bedford with his wife, Diane.

Deborah Boucher attended Bridgewater State College, receiving a BS in ElementaryEducation. Deborah married David Boucher from East Bridgewater, MA, and have a daughter and two sons. She has been a staff member at Corpus Christi Parish since 1997, and is the Director of Faith Formation. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, needlework, walking, and spending time with family and friends.

Richard V. Fish, Jr. grew up in New York, graduating from Somers High School, in Northern Westchester County. He was very active in Capuchin Youth Ministries in Garrison, New York, and their Day by Day Agape Retreat Program for over a dozen years. He attended SUNY Plattsburgh, and later Ithaca College, where he earned a degree in Music Performance. He then attended the St. John Neumann Residence Pre-Theology Program for two years, studying Philosophy and Theology through St. John’s University. After this, he attended St. Joseph’s Seminary, Dunwoodie, in Yonkers, earning Bachelor of Sacred Theology and Master of Divinity Degrees. Mr. Fish then moved to Massachusetts, teaching at Landmark School in Beverly, where he served as the founding Director of Performing Arts for 16 years. During that time, he also earned a Master of Science Degree in Moderate Special Needs Education. Mr. Fish holds Teaching Licenses in Massachusetts in the areas of Music and Moderate Special Needs Education. In addition to his position here, Mr. Fish is also the Director of Performing Arts at Pope John Paul II High School in Hyannis. Mr. Fish and his wife, Laureen, currently reside in Sandwich, where they will begin to raise a family. A.M.D.G.
