Bishop George Coleman ordained 13 men to the Permanent Diaconate October 8, 2007 at Corpus Christi Parish in Sandwich. Their names and bios follow:
Karl Gustav Buder, a member of Good Shepherd Parish, Marthas Vineyard, is married to Lynn (Peckham) Buder. They have two sons. A former probation officer serving the State of Connecticut and then U.S. District Court in that state, he and his wife now own and operate the Thorncroft Inn on Marthas Vineyard.
Peter R. Cote of Saints Peter and Paul Parish at Holy Cross Church in Fall River is married to Kimree Cote and they have one son. He is a nurse at Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River.
Daniel M. Donovan Jr, of St. Margarets Parish, Buzzards Bay, is the husband of Mary (McMahon) Donovan. They are the parents of one daughter and one son. He retired in 1999 as a senior detective from the Newton, Mass., Police Department where he served for 33 years.
John W. Foley is a member of Our Lady of the Cape Parish in Brewster. He and his wife Barbara-Anne have two sons. He is a sales manager for a window and door manufacturer.
Joseph K. Kane, a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Wellfleet, is married to Jean Kane and they have four sons. He is employed as the Chief of the Bureau of Rehabilitation Services for the Connecticut State Department of Social Services.
Richard G. Lemay, of Sacred Heart Parish in North Attleboro, is the husband of Carol (Champoux) Lemay. The couple has a daughter and a son. He is a Human Resources Specialist for the City of Woonsocket, R.I.
Adelbert F. Malloy, Jr. of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Attleboro is married to Sheila Malloy. They have one daughter. He is employed as director of athletics at Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I.
Joseph A. McGinley is a member of St. Mary Parish in Norton. He and his wife Susan have two daughters. He is director of sales training at Codman, a Johnson & Johnson company in Raynham.
Steven F. Minninger, a member of Holy Trinity Parish in Chatham, is married to Becky Minninger and they have two children. He is a financial advisor.
Victor Kenneth Norton of Corpus Christi Parish in East Sandwich is married to Jan Norton. They are the parents of three, one girl and two boys. He has worked for the Bird Machine Company for 33 years both in Massachusetts and Texas.
David Edward Pierce is a member of Christ the King Parish in Mashpee. He and his wife Diane have two sons. He is a deputy director for the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries.
Alan J. Thadeu is a lifetime member of St. Paul Parish in Taunton and is single. He leads the production control and logistics team with Haskon Aerospace and is the Small Business liaison officer of his company with the Department of Defense.
Michael T. Zonghetti, a parishioner of St. Mary Parish in Mansfield, is married to Susan Zonghetti and they are the parents of one daughter and one son. He is a corporate bond analyst for Standish Mellon Asset Management in Boston.
