Corpus Christi BULLETIN: 4/20/08

HOLY FATHER BENEDICT XVIs VISIT TO USA: We are all encouraged to pray for a successful ending for the popes visit. May this visit make us a better Church! Visit these 2 websites for accurate texts of all the popes remarks. Both can be linked from our parish websites homepage (www.corpuschristiparish.org):

www.usccb.org – USA conference of Catholic bishops

PASSOVER: April 20 this year is the first day of passover. We pray for our Jewish neighbors that they may continue to grow in the love of Gods name and in faithfulness to his covenant (Good Friday General Intercessions).

THIS MONDAY: PATRIOTS DAY While enjoying coverage of the marathon, and celebrating with our children, enjoying a week of vacation, we are also invited to recall the beginnings of our revolution. The current Catholic pastor in Concord has a fine blog – see what he writes on this holiday at www.concordpastor.blogspot.com

MONA LISA

For centuries, art historians and just plain folks like us, have wondered what is the secret behind her smile. Well, we cant add anything to that debate but we give you a reason for your own, secret smile. Buy your prom dress at Marys Closet and enjoy the fact that you probably spent less on a gorgeous, one of a kind dress, than he probably spent on your corsage.

Marys Closet has a wide selection of festive wear – prom, wedding, cruise, any special occasion. As our space is limited, not all of this collection is on display, so if you dont see what you want, please ask. Many thanks to everyone who attended our Bridal Fair, especially those who modeled and all those who donated such beautiful clothing to Marys Closet.
